Our Story!

Why Adaak Was Created?

Every home has a story. Every celebration creates a memory. And every meaningful gift becomes a part of someone's life long after the occasion is over. Yet somewhere along the way, gifting lost its meaning. Wedding gifts became predictable. Corporate gifts became repetitive. Housewarming gifts became generic. Festive gifting became a routine exchange of hampers, dry fruits, and products that were quickly forgotten. We saw people spending more money on gifts, but creating fewer memories. At the same time, we noticed something else. The timeless beauty of Indian brass and copper craftsmanship—the very products that once held pride of place in Indian homes—was slowly disappearing from everyday life. Generations before us celebrated craftsmanship. Brass décor adorned homes. Copper vessels were part of daily wellness rituals. Handcrafted artifacts were passed down as heirlooms. Gifts carried meaning, culture, and permanence. Today, despite India's rich heritage, much of this craftsmanship is overshadowed by mass-produced products and temporary trends. We believed there had to be a better alternative. And that belief became Adaak.
